salem ma wedding, five places to get engaged in salem ma

Getting engaged in Salem, married in Salem, spending time here with your significant other…it’s all lovely. Salem is such a magical place and adding a wonderful memory of a wedding or engagement just makes it that much more special. Today on the blog I wanted to chat about three places that I think would make for a great spot to get engaged! I hope this helps spark some ideas for you and if you’re planning on popping the question to your partner…good luck!! I wish you all the best.

The Schooner Fame

You guys, we need to talk for a second about the Schooner Fame. A year or so ago I was on board, in September. It was a full moon and a sunset cruise, fall vibes in the air. I was fortunate enough to witness two passengers get engaged right in front of us all and it was the sweetest thing ever. If you’re looking for a unique spot to pop the question, consider doing it on board the Fame with water side views of the witch city!

The Roof

The Roof is atop the Hotel Salem and offers awesome views of the witch city from above. I think picking a night where the weather is comfortable, enjoying drinks and some snacks and following it up with a proposal would make for great memories.

The gardens at the House of the Seven Gables

The Gables is a gorgeous property, all around. It’s honestly hard to go wrong, however I think the gardens would make for a wonderful spot to pop the question. There are benches, a long stretch of trees and tables, seats that offer a view of the water and more. It’s scenic, romantic and would be great for a few photos afterwards to capture the memories.

There are, of course, tons of other places in Salem that would make for a great spot. These are just the first three for me that come to mind. I hope it helps give you some ideas and good luck!!
