Hi everyone! Welcome back to the blog. For today’s post I wanted to touch on wedding gifts!! Maybe you’re attending a wedding here in Salem and want to give an appropriately themed gift. Or maybe the couple to be wed are just fans of Salem and you want to incorporate that vibe for a future visit. Either way, today on the blog I have a few suggestions for you. So here we go…my list of Salem, MA themed wedding gifts!

The Peabody Essex Museum

Did you know the Peabody Essex Museum is currently running an exhibit all about the Salem Witch Trials? It goes through April 4, 2021 and if the newlyweds are planning to be in Salem before then, snagging tickets as a wedding gift is a great idea. Oh, Borah!

Borah, borah, borah. Salem’s much beloved green faced witch. Did you know you can buy Salem’s Black Hat Society swag right on Etsy? The BORAHporium is located right here. Alternatively, if you’re local or visiting Salem, you can grab a selection of SBHS items at Coon’s Cards and Gifts. This could make for a silly and fun surprise for the couple.

The Gables

The House of the Seven Gables is a favorite of mine and due to the COVID-19 pandemic they have been offering virtual tours. This means that you can give the gift of experiencing some of Salem’s history, right from your home! Click here to head to their website and grab tickets for yourself or for the newlywed couple.

Smaller gift bag items

Okay, so you have the majority of your gift items all set to go. What about smaller, fun gifts? Teas and gift items from Jolie Tea Co. would make a great addition! Click here to head over to their website and browse for ideas.

The gift of accommodations

If the newlyweds are planning to visit Salem or you want to surprise them for their Salem honeymoon, give the gift of accommodations! Salem is home to many hotels as well as Airbnbs and a gift card for a loved one is a great gift idea.
